Our Mission

FBC plays only a small part in the grand scheme of things, but what we do has a monumental impact. The truth is that God has called you to a higher purpose.

What you will find in our church family is a desire to reach out to those around us regardless of their reputation and social or financial position.

Our church has sought to implement our Begin, Become, and Beyond mentality into everything we do because this is the very example Christ gave us during His life on Earth. He was, is, and forever will be God, yet our existence BEGAN in love as God created humanity, knowing we were doomed to fail Him, and even after we succeeded in destroying every last hope we had, God BECAME. He became a human, born as a child to live LIKE us and FOR us. When his life came to a close Christ went BEYOND our understanding of love and gave himself to mend the brokenness humanity had brought on themselves.

In reverent honor of His selflessness, FBC's mission is to seek out those who have not heard about Christ and what he has given us through his death and resurrection.

Here is where you fit in: You have the opportunity to accept the free gift offered of Christ and to BEGIN your walk with him as a Christian. The beauty of this truth is that you will forevermore be a renewed child of God, destined for the glories of Heaven, never again to walk alone. You will stand side by side with others who have made the exact same decision and know that you are not without love.

It doesn't end here though. I, as well as any Christian, can tell you from experience, that the emotions you will experience will explode and the first thing you will want to do is tell the world! However the world as Jesus tells us will not accept us. They will fight us and make our mission as hard as they possibly can. However, do not let this discourage you because our church family will do everything in our power to help you BECOME the God-sufficient Christian you need to be in order to resist the opposition of the World.

The last step is to remember how you were before all of this happened. You should never forget how you felt before Christ because those feelings will only motivate you to go BEYOND your comfort zone, BEYOND the walls of our church or your home, BEYOND the archaic understanding of love and tell others about the gift awaiting them if they would only listen and believe.
